Sitting Cat, White Cat on Yellow & White Cat on Green: a set of 3 cat wall art prints, 20x28 in (50x70 cm), three cats by Julie de Graag, to hang side by side, just like on our collection banner.

The three prints in this set

Sitting Cat: Julie de Graag (1877-1924) is an unjustly overlooked Dutch illustrator and engraver, rediscovered in recent years for the astonishing modernity of her lines. Her wood engravings of animals, created in the 1910s, anticipate Art Deco.

White Cat on Yellow: Julie de Graag (1877-1924) created several colored versions of her cats, exploring how the background color radically transforms the atmosphere of the same composition. This yellow version, created in 1916, is the brightest in the series.

White Cat on Green: A white cat stands out against a deep green background. The contrast is striking, the silhouette streamlined.

Hung side by side, the three prints read as a single piece on the wall.

How much wall space does a 20x28 triptych need?

Three 20-inch-wide prints hung 2 to 3 inches apart cover about 5.5 feet of wall: the width of a sofa or a queen headboard.

Is the set framed?

No: the three prints ship unframed, rolled and protected. 20x28 in (50x70 cm) is a standard size found in most frame shops.

A gift idea

For Christmas, a housewarming or a birthday: a whole wall dressed at once, for less than the three prints bought one by one.

Beautiful images deserve beautiful paper

The paper is an uncoated matte 170 gsm. Its surface stays slightly fibrous, the ink sinks in, the light spreads across it. Colors keep their depth, as on the page of a book.

It is eco-friendly paper from sustainably managed forests, and printed as close to you as possible to shorten transport.

Hanging a piece is not the same as seeing it once. It stays there, you find it again in passing, and the day pauses for a second. It is a moment you give yourself, and offer to those who live with you.
